Work Smart

Projects, easy or hard

Describe the most ambitious DIY project you’ve ever taken on.

Oh boy, ambitious projects. I have done a ton of projects. From fun projects to why did I even try this type of projects. Whether itโ€™s work related or a home project.

As Iโ€™m sitting here thinking, nothing quite comes to my mind when it comes to โ€œambitiousโ€. Weโ€™ve stained the rocks on the fireplace at our old home, redone floors, refinished furniture. The only thing thatโ€™s stands out to me that I can think of is I am currently making a table for or back patio out of a giant wooden cable spool. Had to stop cause winter came but I am looking forward to going back to it as soon as I know winters over.

  1. My Uncle had a couple of those giant spools that he made tables out of. They were nice to sit at.

    1. Itโ€™s a interesting project but fun. Itโ€™s to tall . Iโ€™m 5โ€™ even and the top comes to my chin ๐Ÿ˜‚.

      1. It was fun and hard to get it to the church without messing it up. At the time I had three small kids and a Nissan Datsun 200sx. I think I had to put it in the trunk. Iโ€™m 5โ€™ 6 and it was a lot to carry.

Your post reminded me of my uncle when I saw it. He was an artist and took on lots of ambitious projects. He was an awesome person.
