Attractions

Name an attraction or town close to home that you still haven’t got around to visiting.

There really isn’t many things to do where I live. Not attraction wise. It’s all further North up state or further south down state.

One place I do want to visit is Ferne Clyffe State Park. Granted it’s not closer to me but it would be a nice weekend adventure. It looks peaceful. Just to spend the day in nature.

  1. I also like nature and am attempting to plant a little “forest” in my yard. I am learning the Miyawaki method. I would love to have your sharing about your place

    1. That’s neat. This place I wrote about is a state park. It’s ran by the state here so it’s well preserved and taken care of. It’s a 6 hr drive from me though.

      1. For my part, selection of trees for a forest is not easy. We are used to plant economical value tree and ignore wild ones. There is no supplies of wild trees and vegetation.

      3. I am not so sure i know their English names. I bought any trees i see in shops and then plant them in a mix with wild trees i get in the surrounding area. This is a tropical region of Mekong river. I am still on a midst of planting and need some time to complete
