What makes a good leader?

By definition a leader is someone who takes action by leading a group.

My definition- A leader is someone whom is positive, good natured, is for the people. One who takes others ideas and thoughts into consideration before themselves. They set a good example by doing the right thing and/or making sure the right thing gets done. Someone you can go to in times of trouble and /or when in need. takes responsibility for their own actions and helps others when they need it.

A leader looks above & beyond. The overall big picture. Anyone can lead a group, but can they lead a group in the right way?
