Work Smart

All the time!

What snack would you eat right now?

Peanut butter! Lots of it. I’m not sure why but it’s my go to snack food. I literally eat it by the spoon. 🤷🏻‍♀️.

  1. Good call!
If I am feeling very gluttonous, I will sometimes dip a Hershey’s bar in creamy peanut butter. Just like in the old commercials. lol

      1. Give it a try. If you don’t like it, well…I can’t say money back guarantee, I suppose.
Ah, you’ll like it. Got for it! lol

  2. Maybe it’s the health nut (ha!) in me, but I want my peanut butter to be as natural as possible. Sometimes it’s so hard to find a balance between good and good for you when it comes to peanut butter though.

    2. There’s really good natural peanut butter at Trader Joe’s. Only 3 ingredients.

  3. I loved peanut butter. I ate so much of it I developed an adult-onset allergy to it And now I can’t stand the smell of it. 😄Sunflower butter is a close substitution – minus the smell. 🙂

  8. I rediscovered peanut butter over the Covid lockdown. I hadn’t eaten it since college…so over 25 years. Omg… why did I deprive myself? The other day I ate it by the spoonful…. Who needs bread?!

  11. Wow! Is it any good for your health by eating so much peanut butter instead of eating fried or roasted peanuts?

    1. Not sure in all honesty. I don’t see a difference though besides the processed part.

    2. Besides the processed part of it I don’t see an issue. They are both salted and it’s high in protein. I have health issues that I can’t eat meat so the peanut butter gives me that protein.

      1. Mel, Not all roasted peanuts are salted. In natural peanut butter salt might be absent as well.

  12. ‘’I’m not sure why, but it is my snack food’. Often is is specific element in our diet that are missing that drive our cravings. Perhaps something in PB is missing in your standard diet. PB has a high amount of magnesium, for instance. My pug is always eating the rye grass in the backyard, I suppose his body is craving more fiber and greens. Or he’s just weird. Or both.

    1. That makes a lot more sense since you say it that way. I have fibromyalgia and magnesium helps with the muscle weakness.
      Thanks for the info !

      1. Ha ha, I’m not any kind of nutrition expert. This is just something I hear or read, and it made sense. I like PB too. 😊 Sometimes with honey.

      2. No worries lol. Couple people said it can’t be good to eat peanut butter the way I do. Lol. It makes more sense the way you said it. Besides the magnesium I can not eat meat so I get the protein.

      2. Seems horrible. Chocolate has to have at least 56% cacao and going for better 70-92%. It is not bad to have a treat of peanutbutter with a 100% chocolate bar 🍫 mmhh 😊

  17. I’ve always wanted to try a Twinkie. We don’t have them in the UK and after seeing the film Die Hard and the cop buying them before he got his car shot to pieces 😂 and then in Die Hard 2 Bruce Willis asking him to take a Twinkie out of his mouth, I suddenly noticed that Twinkies were mentioned in a load more American films. It’ll probably be an absolute disappointment for me as I’m not a real sweet toothed person but I’m also eager to visit USA and have ribs, chicken wings and brisket 🤣😘
