Play time

Do you play in your daily life? What says โ€œplaytimeโ€ to you?

Sure I miss those days of my younger years of playing outside with my sisters and friends. Making a fort with chairs, blankets & pillows, etc.

As a mom of 3, granted two of my kids are older, we watch movies, play card games & board games. Play with the hamsters and ๐ŸฆŽ gecko. Play fetch or tug with the dog or play w/ the cats. Thereโ€™s quite a bit of fun things to do.

When Iโ€™m not working, doing stuff around the home or doing things w/ my kids, then play time for me would be going to the gym, working on stain glass or a new crochet pattern. Part of what I call โ€œme-timeโ€. โ€œMe-timeโ€ is important for us to have or weโ€™ll go nuts. We need to take time out of our lives for whether it be catching up on a show , bird watching. Even reading a good book.

  2. Thanks for sharing your wonderful memories and activities. Your post reminded me of the playful times I had with my mom and sisters as a child. Now, inspired by your words, Iโ€™m eager to revive those moments and definitely plan to play with them again. Wishing you continued joy in your moments of play and โ€˜me-timeโ€™ too!.๐ŸŽฒ
