Morning Routine

What part of your routine do you always try to skip if you can?

If & when I’m given the opportunity, I will sleep in. I absolutely without a doubt am NOT a morning person. I used to get up early to get my kids off to school then come home & go back to bed for a hour. Now I’m able to stay up after my youngest is gone. But I can not get up early if my life depended on it. And when I do, I’m not a nice person that early in the AM. Lol

Now, I get up to get my daughter going, but I’m crabby that early. Especially with my Fibromyalgia & RA. Waking up in pain is already not fun and adding I have to “Adult” that early in the morning…..

I have to laugh though, when the weekend comes around, my husband will ask me what time do I want to get up tomorrow (Saturday)?

My answer…… “ I don’t .”

I enjoy my sleep.

So yes, if & when I’m given the opportunity to skip a part of my daily routine…… I’d skip getting up at a normal time. Lol

I’m going yo take a wild guess here and say ( and hope ) I’m not the only one like this.

  2. I am not a morning person, but my husband is. So, when he is home (he travels half the month) I tend to rise a bit earlier. When he is gone I start to become a night owl again. I think people are just built differently when it comes to their natural rhythms.

    1. Me too! I’ve tried to go to bed earlier and it makes for a terrible sleep.
