Work Smart

Lazy days

Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?

Lazy days….🤔. Even on my lazy days I do stuff. Sure, we all have those days where we’re tired and just don’t want to do diddly squat.

My lazy day happens about once a week ish. I do things here & there through out the house. Little stuff that I want to get done that on any normal given day I can’t seem to do. Crossing things off on my to do list while making it known to my kids that I won’t be there taxi driver that day.

So I end up not feeling bad that I didn’t work on a project that day, or something for my blog. Instead I organized my craft area or picked up the house or even crocheted while catching up on a tv show.

I’m curious….What do you guys do on your lazy days?

  1. I’m usually reading a book, watching tv or pick a paintbrush and do a little painting when my art desk isn’t cluttered, which reminds me I need to clean it off 😀

  4. The lazy days, as I’ve come to realize, reflects the intricate dance of balance in life. It’s a reminder that rest is essential, but so is purposeful action. While it may seem like Sophie’s choice—picking one over the other—it’s in the delicate harmony of both that we find our equilibrium.

    1. I agree. I don’t go full all out running around or deep cleaning. But some little thing that I can do and relax at the same time.
