What skill would you like to learn?

I’m working on learning more Digital Design. There’s so much you can do digitally. It’s not for the money, I’ve always been interested in it. Just never had the money to go to school for it.

Yeah i dont care for AI myself, worked for about a year at a local newspaper as the lead paginator and then got downgraded to adds, used photoshop more often in adds than I did as a paginator. But I still always got to do all the special projects because I was the only actual graphic artist that had working at the time. Theres quite a few free programs you can dice into though that are similar to all the Adobe products as well as now it seems people are pushing Canva. I really dislike Canva, considering Ive been playing with it the last couple weeks.
You have quite the experience than. That’s good. My husband is a graphic Designer he’s helped me with a couple things I get stuck on other than that he’s not a good teacher. So I’ve taken classes here & there. There’s a site called Coursera through Google. Classes are free and if you want a certificate then you pay for that.
Cool, i graduated from a community college as a web master, i took graphic design classes there as well as networking. Later I was taking classes at the art institute online. That was for graphic design such as photoshop, illustrator and microsoft powerpoint. I never finished there cause my divorce started at the begining of the second semester.
Havnt tried ink scapes, no wont pay to go back to school with something i can learn myself and i dont own a computer anymore, everything is done via my phone at the moment. Canva is ok, found one similar called desyner that works a bit better because its not 100% online like Canva is. Ive designed our new business cards on it as well as our fliers for this festival that we have booth at for saturday
I’m sure you’ll like Inkscapes. It kinda reminds me a little of Adobe.
Try Coursera online for classes It’s free.
Good luck at your show!! What are you selling? If you don’t mind me asking.

Im doing stitchmarkers, leather brooches and hair barrettes and rings, my wife is doing crochet magnets, pencil toppers, and hair clips. Figure getting our feet wet to see what to expect and give us an idea of what does and doesn’t sell and then go from there. Aparently we are listed as a copper and silver jewery maker
Ohhh what are you making the stitch markers out of?
Good luck to both of you. In my experience from doing shows it all depends on the crowd. Sometimes you have to do a show twice before you make a good enough profit.

Some people are super talented when it comes to drawing. I can draw, but nothing like what I see on a few of these blogs.

I don’t use either one. It’s a bit pricey. Lately I’ve been using Canva & Inkscapes.
