Life without music

What would your life be like without music?

It would be quiet for one. I listen to music when Iโ€™m in the car, working on projects, cleaning, going for my walks or to the gym. I use music as a means for coping with anxiety as well.

Fun fact The oldest known surviving piece of music notation is the Hymn to Nikkal, part of the Hurrian Songs from Ugarit, Syria, dated 1400 BCE.

  4. I cannot go a day without music. Not even an hour. It plays whilst I sleep, and it’s the first thing I hear when I wake up.
What type of music is your go to?

    1. You sound like me. I love music. All types literally. My favorites are country and rock. If Iโ€™m exercising or walking I like stuff like Alan walker , makes me work harder.

      1. I listen to almost everything, but I find myself captivated by Kpop recently. Though I don’t speak the language, I do Google the lyrics, and this usually gets me hooked. I love classic Rock, Rock n Roll, Pop, and so much more. My collection of music would probably confuse many. My playlists look like they were compiled by either a drunk genius, or a certified lunatic.

      3. Yeah, plus I listen to different languages as well, not just Kpop. Indian music, both classical and contemporary and African music too. I love comparing the music of the world. Yes there are differences, but sheer similarity, shows just how connected we are as a species. Whether some people like it or not.

  6. I donโ€™t know if youโ€™re familiar with the musician Stevie Ray Vaughn.. but we grew up in the same neighborhood Oakcliff, Texas ..went to the same high school.. I knew where he lived when he was growing up. Every time he would do a concert here in Dallas I would get free tickets every time. I really miss him..
