How do you celebrate holidays?

It really depends on the holidays. most of our family live out of state now. We used to all get together at my parents.

Easter – hang around at home and see my In-Laws.

July 4th (Independence Day) also my birthday. Normally we either go out of state to my sisters or my parents for 1-2 weeks. This year we stayed home.

Halloween– Kinda sucks here. A ton of kids but barely anyone comes for candy. We even have our house all decorated 🤷🏻‍♀️ go figure.

Thanksgiving– The past few years on Thanksgiving we’ll have my In-Laws over and my niece & nephew. My sister works. Then she’ll have thanksgiving on another day and we go there.

Christmas– Christmas Day we all enjoy ourselves together. As a big family we’ll pick a day & all of us we’ll get together…. There’s 17 of us, granted not all of us can get together but for the most part we do. It’s my favorite holiday just for that reason. I enjoy spending time with them.

New Year’s Eve – we sit at home & celebrate that way. Snacks and such then ring in the new year.

There’s other holidays but we really don’t celebrate them. Don’t get me wrong…. There’s Veterans Day and Memorial Day & we’ll thank people and donate. Other than that no. Like st. Patrick’s Day we’ll have the Irish meal.
