The furthest I’ve been from home

Share a story about the furthest you’ve ever traveled from home.

Our honeymoon 16 yrs ago. We went to the beautiful Islands of Hawaii. We went to Honolulu & Maui. I don’t have one bad thing to say about it. It was gorgeous, relaxing, the people of Hawaii are very nice! Our hotel room had a big balcony with an ocean view.

We went on the road to Hana. The road up the mountain/hills were so narrow it was scary! You could pull over and sight see like the Rainbow Eucalyptus trees. A big forest of them! I’ve never seen anything like it!

I swear the island smells like nothing but flowers. There was also the black sands beach. When we went, a bunch of jellyfish had washed ashore and were on the beach. It was weird to see them like that.

I could go on and on. I’d love to go back there again. Unfortunately my kids eat up our money so it’ll be awhile.

      9. Yes it’s a gross heat. Some days it’ll be muggy and sticky and other days it’s hot & humid. Doesn’t matter if it’s 79 or 94. Like feel like temp is what makes it worse. And in the winter it’s super freezing. Or we’ll get a crap ton of snow. Fall is my favorite! It’s cool but not cold. It’s sweater weather. Windows open and fresh air. 😊
        What’s it like up there?
