Work Smart

Crockpot Lasagna

I should of put this in my last post. For those interested, here is the recipe. Super easy & quick.

Ingredients

Box of no boil lasagna noodles

Ricotta cheese 8oz

1-2 eggs

Shredded mozzarella cheese

Parmesan cheese

Ground Italian sausage

A big jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce. (I use Ragu 3 cheese I believe itโ€™s called)

*. Brown the ground Italian sausage. Once browned add in about 1/2 the jar of sauce. Set aside.

*. In a bowl mix the following-

The container of ricotta cheese

2 eggs

1-2 T of Parmesan cheese

*. In your crockpot layer the following:

Start with lasagna noodles ( you may have to break them to fit. If I lay them long ways, then the next time I later then I will put them in the opposite direction. It helps when cutting the lasagna later.)

So- Lasagna noodles

Second spread cheese mixture

Third put down a layer of meat mixture

Fourth sprinkle mozzarella cheese and drizzle more sauce.

Repeat the above steps.

When your done layering, at the top I sprinkle cheese and the rest of the sauce.

Put in crockpot on Low for 4 hours at most.

***. I do not add seasonings/herbs because the Italian sausage has some in that. Itโ€™s very flavorful. Adjust recipe to your liking

Thatโ€™s it!
