Where did your name come from?

I’m honestly not sure. I know my mom told me she wanted to name me something different that no one has/had. So she named me Melodie. With the ie at the end instead of a y. I’ve yet to meet anyone with the same name & spelling.

I’ve met Melanie’s, and Melody. Not the same as mine though
