Hi everyone! I ordered this thing called a milk cloth. Also can be used when making yogurt, cheese, etc. It’s similar to cheesecloth. Regardless, it finally came in the mail so now I can show you the straining process of the Lavender oil.
In case you missed it here’s the link for Part 1 of DIY Lavender oil –
DIY Lavender Oil
Supplies needed for part 2:
Jar with lid
funnel
Your premade Lavender Oil
Something to strain ( cheesecloth, milk cloth, pretty much anything with really tiny holes so the lavender seeds don’t strain in with the oil.
Paper towels
Step 1
With a Jar , sit the funnel on the top of the jar. Then put the milk cloth or cheese cloth over that.

Step 2
Slowly pour your premade lavender oil into the cloth. Once all the oil is out of the first jar, let the seeds sit in the cloth for about a minute or two. Then take the cheese cloth, and carefully lift it up. Remove the funnel, and now you will bunch up the cloth ( see picture) and squeeze out the access oil.

Step 3
Replace lid. That’s it! You can now use your oil.
