Hi everyone. Today I wanted to show you guys how to make your own Linen Spray. I know I’ve said before we have had to cut down on our spending. I have learned to make a few things myself, one being Linen Spray. I absolutely love the Lavender Aromatherapy Linen spray at Bath & Body. Yes, I know this is not the same. It comes close though! I love the smell of Lavender. It has a relaxing smell to it.
Lavender has quite a bit of benefits to it as well. It is believed to have antiseptic & anti-inflammatory properties to it. Which it can help heal minor burns & bug bites. It is also used to help treat anxiety, depression, headaches, insomnia & restlessness. Some studies have even suggested drinking lavender as a tea can help with digestive issues.
Let’s get started shall we?
Supplies:
- Spray bottle- any size, I used a 6-8oz spray bottle from the dollar store.
- 1/2 cup Distilled water
- 1/2 cup Mineral oil (you can use any carrier oil)
- Lavender essential oil
- Lavender seeds (optional)- approx. 1 teaspoon

Now, to be honest I guesstimated on what I put in for Mineral oil & Distilled water. However, I have made this enough times to know how much I use. You will start by putting in the 1/2 cup of Mineral Oil, then the 1/2 cup of distilled water. Put cap on and shake the bottle a little to mix it up. Next you will add the essential oil & Lavender seeds. Replace cap and shake again.
Spray it in a test spot on a blanket or couch/bed somewhere that you don’t care if something happened to it. I like to spray it on my bed about an hour before I go to bed.
