Crocheted heart gift tags

Supplies needed:

Red yarn (any kind, I use Red Heart acrylic)

Scissors

Hook (look on your yarn for the gauge you need)

Blank gift tag 

Glue (I use Aleene’s Tacky or E 6000)

Instructions–      

1. Create a slip knot.  Ch 4
2. In first chain from hook – 3 tc, 3dc, ch 1, 1 tc, ch 1, 3 dc, 3tc, ch 3
3. Slip stitch through the middle of the heart. Pulling through the center.  Weave in ends.

You can now glue your heart onto the gift tag leaving room for you to write on.
