Magnesium Oil- Benefits and how to use it

Magnesium deficiency is widespread because many of us have lifestyle factors that actively deplete our magnesium levels. These include lack of sleep, excess stress, or alcohol/caffeine/sugar consumption. On top of that, many of our natural magnesium sources are depleted.

Magnesium deficiency has been linked to several chronic health conditions, such as-

Much of the research done on magnesium supplementation for these health conditions has focused on magnesium in food and oral supplementation

Several recent animal and human studies suggest topical magnesium may have some benefits, but more research is needed to determine its effectiveness

Magnesium supports muscle function, helps maintain bone structure, protects the liver, balances blood sugar, lowers your risk of blood pressure & hypertension, helps counter inflammatory diseases like Fibromyalgia, it also helps with Neuropathy. Magnesium also Counters stress, lessons pain, improves sleep, eases anxiety and much more.

Enough with the lesson on health. 😊 Today I’m sharing how to make Magnesium oil spray.

Tips-

1. test it out on a small spot on your skin first to make sure you do not get any sort of reaction from it.

2. do not apply on freshly shaven skin.

3. Use a little bit at a time.

Supplies needed:

1/2 cup Magnesium Flakes – bought mine on Amazon. (Magnesium Chloride Flakes are best)

1/2 cup Distilled water

Spray bottle

Small pot

Measuring cup

Bowl

Funnel

Step 1:

Start by measuring 1/2 cup of distilled water and pour it into the pot to boil.

Step 2:

While you wait for the distilled water to boil, pour the magnesium flakes into a bowl.

Once the water is rapidly boiling, pour it on the magnesium flakes. Stir until all the flakes are dissolved. (Takes approx 1-2 minutes)

Step 3:

Let the magnesium oil you just made cool completely, the. Transfer into a spray bottle.

If you do not have a spray bottle, transfer the magnesium oil to a jar with a lid until you can get one.

The Dollar Tree does sell them OR repurpose one you have at home.

That’s it! I have been using it for several days now on my legs (I have restless legs and Fibromyalgia). My legs are not acting up so I’ve been sleeping better plus I’ve had more energy during the day! It’s a win!
