A jar of deliciousness!

Hello everyone! Making your own pancake mix people think it requires a lot of work but really, there’s nothing to it. It only takes minutes to make, it’s cheaper and healthier for you AND there’s nothing added ingredients that you can’t pronounce. 😁

A lot of people have food allergies like gluten for example. Buying food gluten free or organic is pricy. This takes minutes to make.

Ingredients needed:

  • 5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Jar (s) with lids.

Wet ingredients for when your ready to make:

  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 – 1 Cup Milk or Buttermilk
  • 2 Tbsp Vegetable or Canola Oil
  • 1 1/2 – 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

Step 1:

In a large bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

Step 2:

Once the ingredients are thoroughly mixed, you can pour the mix into jars. Divide the pancake mix up. Approx 11/2 -2 cups of mix per jar. Leaving room at the top to add the liquid ingredients when you’re ready to make it.

Gluten Free Pancake mix:

  • 1 Cup Gluten-Free flour
  • 1 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 3 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt

Wet ingredients for when your ready to make:

  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 – 1 Cup Milk or almond milk
  • 2 Tbsp Vegetable or Canola Oil

* Follow steps 1 & 2 above.

Tips:

  1. You can make waffles or pancakes with the mix.
  2. These make great gifts for teachers or Christmas.
  3. Adding the vanilla extract gives the pancakes a subtle delicious taste.
  4. Add your own mix ins- blueberries, chocolate chips, cinnamon to name a few.
