
I love a good breakfast! Pancakes are always a win in this house. Especially with different toppings on it. I have a great recipe to share with you guys today! Vanilla Syrup, total syrupy goodness!
Ingredients :
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 Tablespoons half and half (or whole milk), optional
Step 1:
In a small saucepan over high heat, combine the water and brown sugar. Cook, stirring frequently, until it comes to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking, stirring constantly, until all the sugar is dissolved and the syrup thickens.
Remove from heat and whisk in the cinnamon, vanilla and half and half (if using). Serve warm over pancakes.
