Great for movie night with ice cream ðŸ˜‹

Part 3 for Father’s Day ~

The other day I noticed someone kindly used all the chocolate syrup and put the empty bottle back in the cabinet. 🤨. This is a norm in this house. So today, I decided to make my own.

I’m telling you, it’s delicious! So worth it and only took maybe 15 minutes at most from start to finish.

Supplies & ingredients needed:

*Bowl

*Spoon or whisk

*Measuring cups

*Teaspoon

*Milk – 1 cup

*Cocoa Powder – 1/2 cup

*Sugar – 1 cup

*Vanilla extract – 2 teaspoons

*Salt – a pinch

Just in case:

Cornstarch

Step 1:

Start with putting the dry ingredients into a bowl. (Cocoa powder, sugar, salt) Mix well making sure to get all the clumps out.

Step 2:

Add in the milk and vanilla. Mix well.

Step 3:

Let the chocolate sauce sit to thicken for give or take about 5 minutes.

When you check on the sauce, if it’s still not thick enough then add a sprinkle or two of cornstarch. Mix well. Then let it sit for another 5 minutes or so.

The longer it sits, the thicker it gets. I thought mine was thick enough till I poured it into a jar when I thought I was done. Now it’s really thick. So be careful with the amount of cornstarch you are putting in.

I hope you all enjoy this chocolate sauce as much as we do!
