There’s been many many times where I was at the store and went over the amount I actually had in my pocket. A few of those times when my kids were with me. It’s no only embarrassing but you feel like a crappy parent. So I make a conscious effort to pay it forward when I do have extra cash. I either pay for the next person’s coffee in line, or use the change I get back towards the next person’s order. One time we paid for the family behind us to get in the pumpkin farm. It’s the little things that make you feel better by helping others.
