What traditions have you not kept that your parents had?

There’s two traditions that I remember doing every year as kids. One is St. Nicks day, if your not aware of that it’s a day a couple weeks before Christmas that you put your stockings out & St. Nick (or Santa) fills them. My husband never did that so we just do it on Christmas Day.

Second is lent. I did it with my kids up until about 5 yrs. Ago. Not sure why we stopped doing it. I think sometimes we tend to let ourselves get sucked into life in general that we forget about those traditions or even just little things.
